Ships
Squadron 42 ships
Checked 2026-10-17
These are selected campaign-related ships, not a final playable-ship roster. A reference category also contains weapons and temporary names; membership alone does not confirm player control.
Source review: official RSI lore identifies the Bengal as a fleet carrier. The secondary wiki provides ship dimensions and its campaign-development category. The Idris-M is included separately through the UEES Stanton reference, not because it appears in that category.
Hulls with published dimensions
| Ship | Role on the wiki | Size |
|---|---|---|
| Idris-M | UEES Stanton's class | 240 × 125 × 45 m |
| Javelin | Destroyer, tagged active for SQ42 | 480 × 198 × 72 m |
| F8 Lightning | Heavy fighter on the category list | Not reproduced here |
| F7X Hornet | Listed in the community development category | Not reproduced here |
| Bengal | UEE fleet carrier, not an escort carrier | Roughly 1,000 m, official lore |
Vanduul names and the limits of a category
The community category includes Vanduul-related entries such as Blade, Glaive, Scythe, and Kingship. Labels such as Vanduul Bob, Vanduul McTyphoonFace, and the Bengal variants are not treated here as final marketing names.
The category also includes P8-ARM Rifle and a separate media-file section. Its page count is therefore not a ship count. A campaign-related entry is not a promise that the craft is playable or that buying its Star Citizen counterpart unlocks Squadron 42.

Questions I keep getting
What is the biggest ship in Squadron 42?
This selected list cannot establish an overall winner. Official lore puts the Bengal around 1,000 meters, larger than the 480-meter Javelin reference; other capital ships exist.
Can I fly the Idris?
You serve on the UEES Stanton, an Idris-M. The wiki does not confirm you pilot that frigate. See the Idris page.
