Checked 2026-10-17

The Manchester hands-on took place in October 2026. The dated reveals below provide context; this is not CIG's complete future-events calendar.

Source review: the official Manchester recap is kept separate from the secondary wiki chronology. No new Times Square or "bagpipe reveal" event is asserted without a source. Older official Gamescom material exists, so absence from a 2026 letter cannot establish that Squadron 42 was never discussed at Gamescom.

Searches I am not turning into events

Historical CIG Gamescom presentations are documented by RSI. They should not be mistaken for an announced 2026 Squadron 42 playtest, a public demo, or a future launch presentation.

The cited sources do not substantiate a specific Times Square or "bagpipe reveal" event. Neither is listed here as a confirmed occurrence. Search keywords alone are not an event announcement.

Questions I keep getting

When is the next Squadron 42 event?

This log does not establish a later event date. Use a dated official announcement before making attendance or travel plans.

Was Squadron 42 at Gamescom?

RSI has historical Gamescom material. The sources here do not establish a specific 2026 Squadron 42 booth or public demo; they cannot support a blanket "never" claim.
